No Classes on Tuesday 15th Nov!
Due to circumstances beyond our control there will be no Classes on Tuesday 15th Nov. Instead we will have classes as normal on Tuesday 1st Nov, Melbourne Cup Day. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Congratulations to our Term 3 Champions – Cody (Tiger), Bea (Junior) and Moustafa (Teen). Your focus and determination stood out all Term.

Fundraising
Thank you to all those families who helped us sell chocolates again this term. Monies raised will go towards AKF and VKL registrations, Trophies and our end of year celebrations. Chocolate money is due back this Thursday 27th Oct. Thank you for your ongoing support. We couldn’t do it without your help!
AKF (Australia Karate Federation) Update
We have been notified that we are now on the top of the list for a dojo inspection, which they promise will take place before the end of the year. Once the dojo passes inspection we will become members of the AKF and will be eligible to take part in all VKL (Victorian Karate League) and AKF tournaments. 2017 promises to be an exciting year for our students.
Junior/Teen Grading – Thursday 8th December
Those students who are grading will receive an invitation a few weeks prior. Please note that grading incur a cost of $30 to cover expenses, this is due by Tuesday 6th December. Tiger grading will occur on the last day of the term during their normal classes. There is no fee for Tiger Grading.
Black Belt Grading – Friday 9th December
Black belt grading will take place on Friday 9th December. There will be a closed door component which begins at 4pm. All club members are welcome to come along and support our student from 6pm onwards. Black belts please note that a $100 grading fee applies and must be paid by Tuesday 6th December.
Black belt presentations and Awards Night – Tuesday 13th December
Our Awards Night will be held on Tuesday 13th December at the dojo. On the night there will be black belt presentations and awards for junior, Teen and Senior tournaments, announcing Term Champions and presenting awards for best Spirit and Budo. Finger foods and drinks will be provided. We invite all students and their families to join us on the night. If you have any allergies or special dietary requirements please let cat know asap.
